Sarah York is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in hormone optimization, integrative medicine, and disease prevention. With a passion for helping patients feel their best at every stage of life, Sarah takes a personalized, whole-body approach to care by offering therapies that support energy, balance, longevity, and wellness from the inside out.

She earned both her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida. Her advanced training includes expertise in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), peptide therapy, medical weight loss, and aesthetic procedures such as neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments.

Sarah brings a unique blend of clinical experience to her practice. She spent four years as a registered nurse in an emergency department in Baltimore, where she served as a charge nurse and team leader. She was instrumental in promoting staff safety and wellbeing, including co-chairing a workplace violence prevention taskforce. Her work in high-pressure environments has given her a deep appreciation for both proactive health care and compassionate, individualized support.

Earlier in her career, Sarah coordinated research in cardiovascular medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on pre-eclampsia, endothelial dysfunction, and ICU communication strategies. As a Research Honors Scholar during her nursing education, she participated in the African Immigrant Health Study, helping to explore health disparities and improve outcomes for underserved communities. She also served as a student doula during nursing school, supporting women through labor and delivery and advocating for patient-centered maternity care.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah is a wife, a proud mom, and a devoted dog-mom to a spirited Weimaraner. She loves spending quality time with her family, whether they are traveling, skiing in the mountains, playing beach volleyball, or hitting the trails on their mountain bikes. She believes that living well means being active, connected, and energized, and she is passionate about helping her patients achieve just that.
