Rebecca Holub originally earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a minor in Psychology from East Carolina University and subsequently began to work in pediatrics at The University of Maryland Medical Center which sparked the desire to further her career in medicine. This led to her pursuit of an Associate’s degree in nursing in the accelerated nursing program at Howard Community College. She spent 7 years working on cardiac and stroke units at St. Joseph Medical Center and continued her nursing career on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the Greenebaum Cancer Center at The University of Maryland Medical Center for 5 years. Wishing to further her career she pursued a master’s degree in nursing at Simmons University. She graduated summa cum laude as a Family Nurse Practitioner and certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Following graduation, she worked as a nurse practitioner in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center caring for patients in the Cancer Center. Her experience in oncology as well as cardiac/stroke care and pediatrics has further developed her life passion for preventive medicine, wellness as well as aesthetics. Rebecca has trained in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy in Utah, as well as neuromodulator and dermal filler training at Aesthetic University. Rebecca feels that one of the most effective forms of preventive medicine is the empowerment of patient knowledge. Through supporting each patient in a personalized way, she empowers her clients to make lifestyle changes that will improve their quality of life, by not only looking good, but feeling good as well. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband raising their two sons, daughter, and Labradoodle. She has a great time being a cheerleader for her children and attending their basketball and soccer games.
